The sky rife with color.
A January afternoon of celebration,
Every moment worthy of mention.
Primary students in Makar Sankranti mood,
Tasting, sharing, partaking sweets and til
gud.
Father and son watch their kite soar,
Each one asking for more.
Our moments so well spent,
Don’t know where time went.
A year long wait days I count,
For January 14th to come around.
